The heaviest sock we stock. Alpaca fibre is hollow-cored, which is why it holds heat the way it does and why it stays warm even when damp — and unlike sheep's wool it has no scales, so there is nothing to itch against your skin.
These are built for actual cold: a terry loop interior for cushioning, reinforced construction, and enough weight that they earn the name. Good for skiing, hunting, working outdoors, farm chores in January, or feet that are simply always cold.
Alpaca blended with nylon and acrylic — the blend is what makes them machine washable and hard-wearing
